1. Who processes your data
The data controller is Marcin Wolak, operating under the EcomScale brand and running ecomscale.eu. For any questions about your data, email marcin@ecomscale.eu.
2. What data we collect
We only collect data when you contact us yourself: by email or by booking a call in the calendar. This may include:
- your name,
- your email address or phone number,
- your brand name or store URL,
- the content of your message or a note for the call.
Providing data is voluntary, but without contact details we can't reply or confirm a call.
3. Why and on what legal basis
- Replying to your message, scheduling and holding the call, and preparing a proposal: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Confirming and reminding you about a booked call: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Establishing, pursuing or defending legal claims, if needed: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. How long we keep data
For as long as needed to reply, hold the call and continue the conversation, and then until any possible claims expire, but no longer than 24 months from the last contact. If we start working together, data may be kept longer where the law requires it, e.g. tax law.
5. Who we share data with
We use service providers that process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare: website hosting and email forwarding,
- Google: mailbox, calendar and Google Meet, where the call takes place,
- Cal.com: the calendar used to book calls.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. This happens under mechanisms provided for in the GDPR, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We don't sell data or share it for marketing purposes.
6. Cookies
ecomscale.eu doesn't use cookies for tracking or visitor statistics. The contact section shows a Cal.com calendar for booking calls. It only loads when you scroll to that section and follows Cal.com's privacy policy, which may involve storing data in your browser.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your data, as well as the right to object. Just email marcin@ecomscale.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland.
8. Changes
If we change how we process data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
